Carta a todos y todas los que seguirán diciendo NO AL TPP-11

Estimadas compañeras y compañeros:

Hoy es un día triste. El TPP ha sido aprobado a pesar de la gran movilización ciudadana y de la solidez de los argumentos en contra.

Sin embargo, no hay razones ni espacio para rendirse. Debemos ir al Senado y evidenciar que no hay ninguna organización social de Chile que se haya manifestado a favor del TPP-11.

Hacemos un llamado a continuar en la tarea de defender la soberanía del país. Hemos construido un proceso unitario y abierto que ha ido sumando voluntades, entre ellas la de decenas de diputados. La historia del continente no registra en los últimos años un caso de oposición tan grande a un TLC, además con irrefutables razones.

Agradecemos a cada organización sindical, social y/o territorial que se sumó a esta lucha. A los parlamentarios que desde el principio creyeron en esta causa y a los que se integraron después.

Lo ocurrido es muy grave y por lo tanto, dentro del respeto a las reglas del juego democrático, anunciamos desde hoy que haremos lo posible para que quienes votaron a favor no sean reelegidos.

La tarea no se ha terminado y el país necesita todavía más voluntad, compromiso y movilización para que el Senado revierta el error histórico cometido por la Cámara de Diputados.

Llamamos a todas y todos a ponerse en contacto con los senadores de sus regiones y pedir el voto en contra del TPP11, así como a participar en las movilizaciones que podrían desarrollarse en los próximos días.
