Senado vota el 11 el TPP11. Golpe a la salud, semillas y soberanía

El próximo 11 de octubre el Senado votará el TPP11, Tratado Transpacífico. El martes 4 continuarán la discusión del tratado procediendo a la votación final. El proyecto no tiene urgencia por parte del Ejecutivo que sin embargo hasta ahora no ha utilizado la facultad que el Reglamento le otorga, retirar el proyecto. Este fue enviado al congreso por el ex Presidente Sebastián Piñera, el 29 de octubre de 2018. El estallido social impidió que se votara en la sala en plenario, como se anuncia ahora. Después del estallido, Piñera puso urgencia al proyecto 28 veces pero no logró que el Senado lo votara, dada la presión social y política existentes.  Paradojalmente el TPP11, que fue votado en contra por la totalidad del Frente Amplio en la Cámara de Diputados, junto a los Regionalistas verdes,  y no formó parte de su programa de gobierno,  tiene posibilidades de ser aprobado durante su mandato, a espaldas de su base social y de las recomendaciones de Apruebo Dignidad, que es la coalición que lo llevó originalmente al gobierno.

Aquí imágenes y video de movilización llevada adelante frente al Congreso el 28 de septiembre, cuando se inició la discusión del TPP11, lo que fue repudiado por las organizaciones sociales, ambientales y políticas de Valparaíso, junto a otras ciudades y localidades.
