Yo Rechazo El TPP: Frente a Suma Urgencia impuesta por el gobierno decenas de candidaturas se comprometen contra el tratado

Chile Mejor sin TLC invita a todas(os) los candidatas(os) a concejos municipales, alcaldías, gobernaciones y convención constituyente a sumarse a la campaña.

Una de las reivindicaciones que la ciudadanía organizada levantó durante la revuelta social, fue el llamado a No ratificar el TPP-11, debido a esto cuando el Gobierno puso nuevamente Suma urgencia a su discusión en el Senado el resultado fue la reactivación del rechazo a este acuerdo comercial. 

Varias de las acciones desarrolladas en contra del TPP-11 han relevado la importancia de que el Proceso Constituyente pueda realizarse de forma transparente y sin obstáculos previos a las decisiones que se puedan tomar en ese espacio. 

Desde la Plataforma Ciudadana Chile Mejor sin TLC se lanzó una campaña para que los candidatos a la convención constitucional se comprometan a persistir con las demandas del pueblo movilizado y se mantengan en contra del TPP-11 y todo lo que implica este tratado. 

La adhesión de las candidatas y candidatos a dicho compromiso se ha manifestado a través de las redes sociales donde han subido su foto o video con una pancarta y utilizando el hashtag  #YoRechazoElTPP. Ya son decenas de activistas, representantes de organizaciones sociales y otros candidatos y candidatas las que se han sumado a esta iniciativa. 

Catalina Bosch de la Coordinadora Nacional de Inmigrantes Chile y candidata por Distrito 9 dice #YoReChazoElTPP “por las graves consecuencias que significará para nuestras comunidades, territorios y desarrollo de nuestros países. Es una nueva forma de colonización, saqueo y destrucción de lo más valioso que tenemos para nuestro desarrollo integral y soberano”, declara en su video.


Rubén Pérez, candidato por el Distrito 6 apunta a los conflictos que podrían darse si el TPP-11  fuera ratificado y la Convención Constitucional decidiera hacer cambios para la recuperación de los bienes comunes, normativas medioambientales o en las jubilaciones. “Si se aprueba el TPP, nuestro país se puede ver expuesto a demandas en tribunales internacionales por corporaciones que vean afectados sus intereses económicos, como por ejemplo la recuperación del agua o nuestros fondos de pensión”, sentencia. 

Natalia Zapata, rechaza el TPP-11 por todas las luchas y derechos que podrían verse disminuidos si éste fuera aprobado. “No a la transnacionalización de nuestros recursos ambientales y económicos, NO a la no regularización de nuestros alimentos en torno a los transgénicos, NO a la precarización laboral, NO a la vulneración de los DDHH”, declara la candidata por el Distrito 6.

Loreto Lagos Candidata a Constituyente por Distrito 23 se manifiesta contra este tratado en defensa de la naturaleza y del poder constituyente. Por las aguas, semillas, territorios libres y autodeterminados, rechazamos las trabas y artimañas que una vez más el Estado junto a los poderes económicos buscan consagrar con este Tratado bloqueando una nueva Constitución justa y escrita por todos y todas.

Chile Mejor sin TLC extiende la invitación a hacerse parte de esta campaña a todas(os) los candidatos(as) a concejos municipales, alcaldías, gobernaciones y convención constituyente para dejar en claro que Chile quiere una Constitución sin TPP.
