Diputado Argentino, Guillermo Carmona: el TLC Chile-Argentina sólo favorece a las grandes corporaciones trasnacionales

El tratado de Libre Comercio entre Chile y Argentina, firmado en enero de 2018, cuyo objetivo es extender el Acuerdo de Complementariedad Económica (ACE) N°35 vigente desde 1996, ha sido presentado por los gobiernos como “histórico y progresista”, sin embargo distintas fuerzas políticas y de la sociedad civil tanto de Chile como de Argentina lo han objetado, debido a la desregulación que promueve y al secretismo con que se ha negociado.

Guillermo Carmona, diputado argentino, indica que “estos acuerdos no son estrictamente acuerdos comerciales sino que son principalmente acuerdos de desregulación económica”, también agrega que los gobiernos de ambos países se han esforzado “en que se alcancen estos acuerdos que no son en favor ni de Chile, ni de Argentina, son en favor de grandes corporaciones trasnacionales que se benefician con la desregulación en materias muy delicadas como lo son las contrataciones públicas, las cuestiones ambientales, patentes, asuntos vinculados con servicios públicos, en los cuales el Estado aún mantiene injerencia.

Otra de las críticas que la sociedad civil le hace a este tratado es la falta de transparencia y de participación ciudadana con que se ha negociado y discutido este acuerdo, respecto a esto Carmona señala que “este acuerdo, particularmente, ha sido celebrado sin ningún tipo de consulta a los actores de la economía argentina, tampoco se han realizado estudios de impacto económico de estos acuerdos y, por otro lado, no se ha dado, en el proceso de negociación, ninguna información, ni participación  al Congreso nacional”

Por otro lado, este acuerdo ha sido presentado como un “ejemplo de integración” para la región, sin embargo dicha integración apunta sólo a la liberación y desregulación económica, propiciando la competencia entre países.


En ese sentido Diputado argentino, Guillermo Carmona, indica que para que esa integración sea realmente en favor de nuestros pueblos y economías nacionales es importante que los actores reales de ambos pueblos participen en las discusiones de estos acuerdos de manera concreta y representativa.
