Exclusivo: Capítulo Inversión del Tratado Chile-Unión Europea

Comunicaciones

El capítulo 17, Inversión (que incluye también el formato de las Cortes de Inversión para la resolución de controversias) ,  no ha sido publicado en Chile por el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, que adolece de total falta de transparencia. En cambio la Unión Europea publicó el Acuerdo Marco Avanzado en Bruselas el 5 de Julio de 2023 para conocimiento del público ya que   esos capítulos se votarán en diciembre de este año por el Consejo (ejecutivo) de la UE. No será votado por el Parlamento europeo en 2023 pero si es aprobado por el Consejo, se considerará vigente para su aplicación provisional. Los capítulos vinculantes del Acuerdo Marco Avanzado, que constituyen el Pilar Comercial son el capítulo de Inversión,  el de Servicios Financieros y el de Movimiento de Capitales.
