Desde Ecuador: Un revés para los pueblos
Quienes hacemos parte de la Plataforma Américalatina Mejor sin TLC, no debemos olvidar que fue Correa, en su gobierno, quien firmó el primer TLC del Ecuador; no debemos olvidar que fue ese gobierno el que dio el nefasto impulso a las empresas transnacionales mineras que tanto daño hoy nos hacen en todo el territorio nacional; fue ese gobierno, el de Correa, el que persiguió y criminalizó la lucha social en el Ecuador, el que negó el derecho al aborto en todas sus causales. Tampoco debemos olvidar -sería una torpeza- que fue ese mismo gobierno, -nefasto en diversas formas-, el que creó un marco legal que dignifica el trabajo de, por ejemplo, los y las maestras del país, fue ese mismo gobierno el que retiró la base militar gringa del país y planteó procesos de hermanamiento entre los pueblos y los gobiernos del continente, entre otras interesantes propuestas.
Y sí, lamentable: ayer ganó las elecciones el hijo de una de las familias económicamente más poderosas del país; es una familia con intereses económicos en las principales empresas destructoras de la naturaleza y las comunidades.
El conglomerado Nobis -del que Noboa hijo, ganador de las elecciones de ayer, forma parte- tiene cerca de 100 empresas, con participación en diversas áreas de la economía nacional, tales como agroexportación, minería, empresas inmobiliarias y financieras. Una familia con quizá un siglo de historia en los entramados del poder que, en los últimos años, ha presentado ventas por 600 millones de dólares anuales.
Es posible suponer que en el siguiente año y medio de gobierno, el grupo Nobis (verdadero nuevo gobierno, más allá del joven de Noboa hijo) haga su mayor esfuerzo por crecer y convertirse en uno de los grupos dominantes al interior de la lucha interburguesa por el control de los recursos y la economía del país.
Por su lado, la contrincante derrotada, Luisa Gonzalez, representa las posiciones más conservadoras del llamado correismo en el país. Gonzalez, al igual que Correa, se declara públicamente contra el aborto, a favor de la minería a gran escala y la explotación petrolera como las formas más concretas de “superar” la pobreza.
De nuestro lado, dentro de lo que llamaríamos el campo de las izquierdas hay, a nivel nacional, dos referentes que podríamos considerar, (sin por ello desmerecer ni olvidar los muchos colectivos y organizaciones locales que día a día levantamos nuestras luchas desde la autonomía).
De su lado, la histórica CONAIE planteó un claro rechazo frente a ambas candidaturas… rechazo que sin embargo, en estas elecciones no se tradujo en una postura tajante, como lo hiciera hace dos años atrás: VOTO NULO IDEOLÓGICO. En esta ocasión, la posición de la CONAIE fue más cauta, se definió por no apoyar a ninguna de las dos candidaturas.
Ahora bien, la CONAIE es heredera de una tradición de lucha que ya lleva más de 5 siglos y que, desde fines de los años 80s viene gestando una propuesta de país, un plan de gobierno y distintas formas de un naciente autogobierno en los territorios de fuerte presencia y control del movimiento indígena. Es sin embargo en los últimos años, a partir del levantamiento indígena, campesino y popular de octubre del 2019 donde la CONAIE aparece con claras posiciones anticapitalistas, antisistémicas, y, a su vez, con claras posiciones en lo que podríamos caracterizar como una izquierda revolucionaria con arraigo en formas tradicionales de organización del mundo indígena de los andes centrales, llamando al país a una vía que rompa con el capitalismo, que rompa con la explotación y el patriarcado.
Hay que entender que se trata de un proceso y. como todo proceso, se halla en construcción y tiene fisuras, comete errores, en fin, no es una construcción ideal, ficticia; es una que se encarna y desde allí, desde su realidad, propone una apuesta de país.
El otro referente que podría tener un carácter nacional, es el Frente Nacional Antiminero, de reciente existencia -algo así como 4 años de vida. Con una propuesta en construcción y una clara agenda de lucha contra la minería metálica en todo el país con énfasis en los territorios donde esta pretende consolidarse. Con presencia en buena parte del país y un esfuerzo claro de articulación de estas luchas, el FNA, la CONAIE y, por supuesto, los pueblos en lucha en cada territorio, somos, sin duda alguna, el referente de lucha anti capitalista más claro para el Ecuador en los últimos años.
Las organizaciones, colectivos, movimientos, personas y ONGs que nos paramos contra los TLC y conformamos la Plataforma AméricaLatina Mejor Sin TLC nos encontramos frente al desafío presentado por estas luchas antisistémicas en los países donde tenemos presencia.
En la Red Ecuador Decide Mejor Sin TLC, habemos quienes con certeza nos paramos dentro de esa perspectiva anticapitalista, antipatriarcal y desde esa postura consideramos que vivimos un gran momento para impulsar y coordinar nuestras distintas luchas, desde las distintas posiciones, en el abanico amplio y diverso de las izquierdas de nuestro continente.
