Más de 200 organizaciones recurren a Unión Europea por violaciones a los DDHH en Chile
Este año los acuerdos comerciales entre la Comunidad de la Unión Europea y el Estado chileno se encuentran en una fase de revisión y modernización, incorporándose recientemente diversos antecedentes que dan cuenta de graves violaciones a los Derechos Humanos en Chile durante el gobierno de Sebastián Piñera, lo que constituiría un incumplimiento en las cláusulas de cooperación, razón que podría significar la exigencia de nuevas medidas autoregulatorias e incluso la suspensión de tratados.
Los antecedentes fueron ingresados formalmente a mecanismos de la Unión Europea y al Parlamento de la Unión Europea, a través de una carta comunicación e informe suscrito por más de 200 organizaciones y diversas personalidades internacionales de derechos humanos, sociales, de pueblos originarios, de comunicaciones, de mujeres, sectores académicos, de escritores y escritoras de Chile y de representaciones de 15 países de América y Europa que respaldan la medida.
Dentro de lo referido están los miles de casos en el contexto del llamado “estallido o revuelta social” del 18 de octubre del 2019 y extendida hasta antes del confinamiento por la pandemia, así como diversos hechos críticos relacionados a la situación de la huelga de hambre de los presos políticos mapuche y “numerosos hechos de represión, asesinatos, montajes, odio, intolerancia y discriminación”, que involucra la responsabilidad de diversos agentes estatales.
Otra situación de envergadura, es la del Ministros del Interior Víctor Pérez y el Ministro de Justicia y Derechos Humanos, Hernán Larraín, quienes “según se ha denunciado, han estado vinculados a sectas nazis dentro de Colonia Dignidad. Así también, mientras se violan Derechos Humanos de numerosas personas en el marco de protestas sociales o de reivindicaciones indígenas, el gobierno ha realizado diversos esfuerzos para liberar a criminales que han cometido delitos de lesa humanidad.
Con respecto a los desenlaces causados por grupos de civiles armados que atacaron a comuneros mapuche, quienes habían ocupado, en modo de protesta, los edificios municipales en la provincia de Malleco, recibiendo violencia física y actos de odio y racismo en comunas de Curacautín, Victoria y Traiguén, repudiaron las justificaciones efectuadas por la ex Ministra del actual gobierno, Marcela Cubillos y la del empresario Andrónico Luksic, cuyo grupo económico acapara la mayor fortuna en Chile.
Las organizaciones requieren el cumplimiento de las obligaciones de los principios, valores y normas en derechos humanos que son obligatorias a los estados, así como lo estipulado en el Acuerdo de Asociación entre la Comunidad de la Unión Europea y el Estado chileno. “Apelamos a que dichas cláusulas no sean solamente retóricas, pues a las sistemáticas violaciones a los DDHH se les debe poner fin”, indican ante la Direcciòn General de Comercio de la Uniòn Europea y delegaciones del Parlamento Europeo.
